1 Purpose of the Committee

The Committee for Scrutiny and Evaluation of Proposals (CSEP) is constituted to ensure that all proposals seeking financial assistance from the Trust are examined in a fair, transparent, objective, and time-bound manner, before being placed before the Governing Body for final decision.

2 Scope of Assistance

The Committee shall scrutinize and evaluate proposals relating to the following categories of assistance:

• ✓Financial assistance to the family members of officers and all forestry field personnel who lose their lives in the line of duty.
• ✓Financial assistance to officers and their families who suffer serious injuries, disabilities, or critical illnesses while performing their duties.
• ✓Any other welfare-related assistance for the benefit of family members of officers and all forestry field personnel, as may be decided by the Trustees from time to time.
