Financial assistance of ₹2 lakh was provided to the mother of the late Shri Sohan Singh, FG, Tonk Forest Division, Uttarakhand, who suffered a tragic accidental death while battling a forest fire on June 18, 2026.
₹3 lakh to the family of late Sh. Hari Om, Forester, Mahendergarh Forest Division, Haryana, who lost his life on July 13, 2026, when a truck hit his motorcycle from behind while going for an official meeting, disbursed on July 28, 2026.

₹1 lakh (first instalment) out of the financial assistance of ₹2 lakh approved, to the family members of Late Shri Shyamu Mahagu Sharnagat, FG, Navegaon-Nagzira Tiger Reserve, killed by a sloth bear August 9, 2026 while on patrol duty, disbursed on August 12, 2026.

Pursuant to the decision of the GB, an online meeting was held with the PCCF (HoFF), Odisha.
The Trust's objectives and assistance record were presented, along with the ways in which the State's field formations can partner with the Trust — in verifying case particulars promptly and in spreading the word among staff. Similar meetings with PCCF (HoFF) of other States/UTs follow in September and subsequently.
